Organic Honey Production theNorb's Gold Way
The whole philosophy behind Organic Beekeeping is that bees are kept in hives made out of natural untreated timber. They are placed in areas that have natural flower sources, mainly from the native forests. Honey and other bee products are taken only from Colonies which produce a surplus. The bees are not fed sugar and live purely from what they gather as they have done for thousands of years.
To fight the many bee diseases we have in New Zealand we use only organic treatments (like thymol or formic acid) to maintain healthy bee colonies.
The surplus products we take from the bee colonies are a fine selection of Raw Organic Honey, Honey Comb, Pollen, Beeswax, and Propolis.
